Here is an example of how one kindergarten team in a public school scheduled Merry-Andrew Afoot. Note that they shared the morning performance of Stone Soup with the 1st grade, thus sharing the cost between two teams.

A FULL DAY DRAMA DELUGE is a day-long residency by Merry-Andrew Afoot. During this exciting day at your school, Leroy performs plays and creative dramatics workshops to fit your needs and your schedule. You design your day!

Experience has shown that up to about six plays or workshops will fit into a typical school day. For example:

Many schools begin their FULL DAY DRAMA DELUGE with a performance for a large group of students first thing in the morning, followed by two or three workshops for individual classrooms. The afternoon begins with a repeat of the morning performance for a different group of students followed by more workshops. A schedule like this accommodates both morning and afternoon kindergarten classes, and allows most or all of the students at a school to see a play. Plus it offers many individual classes, perhaps an entire grade level, to experience participatory creative dramatics workshops.

But this is only one idea. Some schools prefer a full day of workshops or a full day of plays or a collage of their own design. Every school, large or small, has unique needs and Merry-Andrew Afoot will work with you accommodate your needs. It is your day!
